The Guardianship of Ishura
The Guardianship of Ishura is lead by Grand Marshall Arcathus of Ishura, Son of Sufyan. It is tasked with the defense of the House and all denizens.
While conscription is used in times of war, the standing army itself is comprised of career soldiers who have trained for many years to become proficient with various kinds of weaponry. The Ishuran Guardianship is a highly specialized and professional fighting force built on the principles of strength, unity, loyalty, and compassion.
They are organized into various units and divisions. The Grand Marshall is responsible for outlining each rank within the Army and its requirements. Furthermore, all Men-At-Arms* receive a set of standard issue armor and weaponry.
To become a Man-At-Arms, Ishurans must submit an enlistment request to the Grand Marshall for consideration. Enlistment lasts a period of ten years, and can be renewed for subsequent two year periods thereafter.
The Red Guard
The Red Guard is lead by the Grand Marshall and comprises of the House's best warriors. The Red Guard is tasked with the unquestionable protection of the Noble House and the High Council. Not much is known about how the Red Guard is selected as such matters remain secret.
*Men-At-Arms is a phrase used to described all House soldiers. Women are not barred from enlisting.
